Marty Zweig And His Investing Rules
The rules that helped him become one of the most successful investors in history
Who is Marty Zweig?
Marty Zweig was an American stock investor, investment adviser, and financial analyst. He started buying stocks as a teenager, reputedly purchasing his first stock at age 13 and from that point on vowing to become a millionaire. He is famous for predicting the 1987 crash on TV just days before it happened.
Zweig has owned what Forbes reported was the most expensive apartment in New York, a $70 million penthouse that sits atop Manhattan's Pierre Hotel.
During the 15 years that it was monitored, Zweig's stock recommendation newsletter returned an average of 15.9 percent per year, during which time it was ranked number one based on risk-adjusted returns
How to invest like Zweig? Follow his rules:

Let profits run, take losses quickly.
If you buy for a reason and that reason is no longer valid, then sell.
The cheap get cheaper. The dear get dearer
Don't let your opinion of what should happen bias your trading strategy.
Don't blame your mistakes on the market.
Don't play all the time.
If you can't sleep at night, reduce your positions or get out.
Don't focus on short term information flows.
Don't fight the FED.
